There should be a late night talk show with these two where they don't know the guest until they walk out and they have like a sparks notes of talking points but mostly they just wing it. And it should be available on streaming not theaters for money reasons

I love the fact that because they constantly talked about "Space Chimps", there is an AD for YT to buy/rent it.... and I'm guessing a lot of people did it because they wanted to see how bad it is. And thus, ladies and gentlemen, you have a perfect example of how in Hollywood, you can always fail upward.

The subtextual tension in this interview is too meta to fully comprehend. I thought the "Jimmy is out due to Covid" sign would be the worst of it, but the the fact that the CIA failed to assassinate Fidel Castro while they succeeded in assassinating Cheryl's father-in-law... (The comment thread we are under was referring to his marriage that ended in divorce, which was full of the tragedy of his prior wife's trajectory. ) John Mulaney did use a past tense phrase to her though, which made it seem like it was not an ongoing marriage. I am still hoping that she divorces him as that will help disavow (break the vow pun) from his crazy statements and speeches lately(circa 2022 and 2021).

space chimps was a defining movie in my childhood. i remember my older sister would pretend to be the bad alien and it terrified me. sometimes i still have nightmares about him. as far as children’s movie villains go he was one of the worst

I was thinking about rebooting the movie and making it seem more appealing to both Adults and kids and take elements from the space chimps video game and the movie having spider verse comic book animation because the title “SPACE CHIMPS” sounds like a comic book series and probably have paramount or 20th century studios distribute the movie without vanguard animation and only have Sony animate the movie and have a PG-13 rating.

I know two things came of this magical show. one- we all learned about Space chimps and will now watch that and not watch chip and dales ever , and two- there should be a talk show were random famous people/comedians come on the show and are assigned at random, guest or host and they now have to improv a talk show. The chaos and spontaneity is amazing.
