I watched their Olympic game yesterday and the USA team looked lost. Even though they won they didn't look good. No playmaker. Reeve has to go. Besides half the arena was empty. Says a lot about the draw of this team.
Cheryl Reeves should be FIRED. Not allowed to coach basketball. Her home team Management should FIRE her for her team selection for the USA team and her attitude behind it. Dianna Taurasi is the ancient past looking like an old dinosaur. Her dinosaurus name DiTuarasasaurus. Caitlin Clark is the future of the WNBA.
Fire her and get a new committee. Reeves is ancient and is totally clueless. If she's on the committee the next Olympics and doesn't pick CC when CC is still breaking records and setting new ones then you know it's a hate thing. That's when she should be fired immediately.
I believe that is what a great number of us believe, BUT also true is that in many situations the coach or other highly leveraged management type has a great deal of say about the final selections. That is what I think is going on here either Reeves. Can you imagine being on a committee with Reeves and disagreeing with her. She is a despicable human being . I don’t know who all the members of the committee are, but I’m give dollars to donuts those committee members are each subordinate to the wishes of Reeves.
I haven’t watched a single game and won’t till we get a new coach who uses the best players available instead of her favorites and friends! That’s what a championship coach chooses for a roaster not a has been coach does.
given the loss to wnba i conclude the whole wnba team should of been at the olympic games going with who you know doesn't put bums on seats nor does it help u win games
Reeves will be gone at the end of the olympics. As for the lynx, hopefully they get beaten in the wnba championships and wouldn’t it be fitting if it was the fever that canned them. Reeves probably will not have her contract renewed as the public image of the lynx has tanked because of this snub.
"Generating excitement we haven't seen in years..." I haven't ever been excited for the WNBA before now. CC is definitely the first exciting WNBA player considering noone has ever generated anywhere close to the hype CC has generated even before she entered the league. That's why she's so hated. They're all jelly.
Probably the same way it has been holding up all along. This is her rookie season. It's not like she created the league. She's not going to sit out next year just to be spiteful and shoot her own foot.

Why wish for negative things to happen when you can instead wish for positive things for Caitlin. Why not wish that she has an even better season next year instead. You're only going to get frustrated.
Olympic team won gold by 1 point with so called best 12 players in world. All WNBA players under age 30 better look to play a different style of play that this old boring muscle game . Drop the agenda that fans don’t want and talk basketball and love basketball because that is what fans want . No more jealousy , racism and aggression towards other players no matter who it is because it turns off people. Get rid of management in league for marketing and business leaders .
