Cheslins cousin is Wade Van Niekerk, Olympic 400m runner and World Record holder), and they used to race each other as kids until Cheslin realised he couldn't make a living from sprinting and turned to rugby. Our town sends players to Paarl Boys, Paarl Gym and Paul Roos so the level of rugby at a school level is very high. Cheslin is an inspiration. He's super humble and such a fantastic role model. Rugby is for all shapes and sizes and it's a way of life for South Africans. Thanks for the content.
