[Gunsmoke was and is the absolutely the best western shows ever produced for regular TV audiences for the whole family, hear it is 2023 and it's still the best, God bless everyone on the show.
I think 17 years ? All I know is, I wanted to buy the whole collection on DVD.. Well.. let's just say, I would have had to go to the bank and get a loan , or do a old western Bank Robbery !! 🤠 pretty pricey , All those Seasons . 🤠🖖
I'm 61, and have been watching Gunsmoke since I can remember . I watch it 6 days a week at 12 Noon on Me tv. Just watched the one today with Lauri Peters as ALLIE . right to the Heart that one does ya ! As so many of Gunsmokes Stories do . Fabulous writers , Actors , The Works . 🤠🖖
the cast of this show was perfect, whoever picked these actors had forethought or a crystal ball, outstanding cast,ARNESS WEAVER STONE BLAKE GENIUS TOGETHER
Probably my favorite episode. Shows the brotherly love Matt and Chester have for each other. Chester was and always will be my favorite GS character. Hated when he left after season 9
@@ianramage1593Actually, in real life, there was only about half an inch between them, though I don't doubt the part about Baer wearing lifts, to make him look bigger than Arness. When he was in Quo Vadis, Baer had obviously worked out more, as he was a lot more muscular in that movie, than in his boxing days. But as one can see, he'd put on quite a bit of weight once he appeared in this Gunsmoke episode.
Great video. I listen to the radio versions during my commute. It’s amazing how BOTH versions are so different but each one is outstanding. In the radio version both Dillon and Kitty are much darker and quick to anger.
Strangest thing about Gunsmoke. Chester is nearly murdered but all Dillon does is kick the bad guy out of town. The only punishable crime in Dodge is murder?
