I definitely agree with you both, I hate the way everyone is so judgmental because LP change their styles and try new things, that's what they do and they do it so well! At least they're not one of those bands where every song sounds the same. They've grown and changed and are still amazing!

This could be my story, all over. I don't worry too much that what I have may be fatal (I've seen enough consultants in my time to reassure me of that, lol), but I too have Fibromyalgia and violent migraines which the doctors will do nothing about. This week alone I've spent 5 days in bed with migraines and losing consciousness . . . but when I *am* feeling okay, then LP is one of the few things that will always cheer me up. I swear I will struggle to get to a concert next time if it kills me, but like you, that ain't easy! I hope you start feeling better. Even if your doctors won't investigate further you sometimes get surprising remissions for a while. I know most of this isn't relevent to the video except the part about Linkin Park being one of the high points of our lives, but I wanted to let you know you're not alone.

I do not have an health problem, but on a period of my life (this is happening now too) that i was depressed, but listen LP's song make me feel so much better. I feel like they understand me and is trying to help me.. I know is silly but that's how i feel. I have no words to tell you how much i like their songs and how much they gave me strong to survive to this period I really love you, Linkin Park. Thank you for all the suport that you gave to me. Be strong, guys. I hope you get better soon.

you have a sinus infection

i had a sinus infection, it caused me to feel weaker, gave me bad headaches, was very tired most of the time, i always felt lightheaded, it can also make you lose your balance.

i hope you all got better and healthier and this pain that you're talking about goes away i can personnaly relate way too much on what you said about linkin park's music

EXACTLY. I don't even have anything to add rather than this comment, coz I agree to each word. Uts exactly how i feel, n always been feeling. But ppl tend to think bands,artists Serve them.. no! Linkin park as any other band btw For Real connects with their fans, n community, and really cares about them! But, if they would keep making same old sound, which they are not excited about, then they would be lying to fans, n themselves basically. So what those ppl prefer? Hypocrisy or honest broad creativity new sounds and concepts? I guess some ppl just get stuck in a way of creativity themselves, and their taste in music ,or any other art just stagnates. And its fine, for them.. But LP create music n art for themselves first, as each of them is open minded person, in different ways, and they have never been sell out even for a second. If they would keep doing hybrid theory style or meteora (which I also still absolutely love btw! ) just coz its convenient and generates money, well, I know I would loose interest eventually, and they would never be actually linkin park. Coz ppl don't even think that their first name was Xero but then Hybrid theory, which is whole idea n philosophy of the band. Making new, exciting, unlike anyones music, and becoming literally its own thing, its own "genre". Or better own approach, and open minded , honest vision , rather than from genre perspective.. Ookay! I wrote so much, after saying I have nothing to add. Lol. But its LP, something I care so much about, that it came naturally to me. Take care out there!

There was absolutely pop in their last couple of albums. Big soaring melodies over electronic instrumentals are very definitely pop. But hey, Linkin Park is a rock/rap/EDM/punk/pop/grunge/metal band, they can do whatever they want. Nothing wrong with some pop elements.

Dewster Hobnobbington That was my only problem with Meteor a. Don't get me wrong, that's my favourite album of theirs, but almost every song had screaming in it. That's why I think Numb is so good at the end. It gave people a chance to realise that Chester is actually a damn good singer.

Mockingbirch There's no point in putting a genre on them. They make music that I like and that's all I really care about. I suppose that's what makes them so good. They're flexible.

I'm glad you guys agree. I'm getting pissed off at people saying their musics bad as well. I can remember watching an interview with Mike where he said that they never really wanted to be a Nu metal band. All they wanted to do was make music and not really have a genre. I know this is going to sound weird but it's almost the same thing that Oasis did. They never really wanted to be Britpop, they just wanted to make music and for people to like that music. That's why I love Linkin Park because they make music I like and they are always changing.

Oh please be true. If they make another song like Remember The Name, I will be happy for a long time. I think Mike is a very underrated rapper. Everyone listens to Eminem and I get bored of him. Mike makes songs with the same format as LP but just keeps it to rap. True meanings to songs is something that rap and Hip-Hop haven't had for a long time.

I heard that after they release The Hunting Party, Mike will be working on another FortMinor album.

This will be a punk oriented album. Although I will listen to it from beginning to the end, but there will hardly be another "Nu Metal" album, thus I'm not really following their stuff since 2008. Their old material was cool at the time it was released. Nowadays it's a usual pehonmenon so LP could not be unique this way. EDM looks the same so, they are in such a problematic situation, no matter what they have gone poppy. I have no idea what's so special about making 10,5 BPM songs.

Lol, how on earth dont they simply realise that they "Need" to go back to the old style, the last 2 albums are not bad at all, but lets be honest, the first 3 in my opinion completely kick ass. i know minutes to midnight is different from first two, but still it was really really good. every fan of them loves what they did at first, they would be stupid not to repeat it..i even fear their words about "moving to EDM or pop" lol, that shouldnt even be an option

Psycho Flash dafuq? I liked all LP albums and HT is the best to me

ATS is by far their best album. In terms of individual songs, ones that you can like dance to and shit, then no, HT or Meteora would be better. But emotionally, lyrically, and atmospherically if that's even a word, ATS is like perfect. It's an experience, and the way you have to listen to it is exactly like you did, back-to-back.

I even listen to all their songs through the night
