A relaxing walk on a rainy Sunday morning along Main Street in the quaint town of Chester, New Jersey. In this POV walking tour we’ll take a stroll down the charming brick sidewalks as we view the historic old buildings, shops, restaurants and storefronts as we listen to the soothing ambient sounds of light rain falling on the umbrella, birds singing, and cars traveling along the wet roadway. Natural ambience and calming ASMR sound. (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) Filmed in 4k on March 6, 2022.

Thank you for recording this. I had always planned on getting to the Chester theatre early to take a walk along main street and never did. It always seemed to be arrive/see show/go to diner afterwards. I grew up in a town without a main street and loved visiting towns that had them.

It's still standing there left untouched since they closed down. It's sad because it used to be a place that had a waiting list to eat at. I was there in 1981 when it was still a buzz.

Haven't been here in 25 years, still looks the same, had a shop a block east of the Public House. Nice to see the town has kept Main St going and looking good when so many other town have lost theirs. As a young child my Father wiuld take us the in Fall to Larson's Turkey Farm to pick out our Thanksgiving Turkey and tag it. Thanks for the vid.

worked in Chester many years ( Erilake Equipment) and was involved with Station 31 ( CVFD) Great great town!

Great to see my former town again. But what happened to the Publick House?

The Publick House closed in 2020 during the pandemic. This video was filmed in March 2022. I read that new owners just reopened the location in late 2022 as PH Steak House.
