22 and no doubt I'll be back next year too!! Yeah Giggs and that deserve credit for the Global Hype surrounding UK Hip Hop but the proper old skool like Skinnyman, Chester P, even later Quality MC's like Jehst and Kalashnikov don't even make the conversation! I'm not taking anything away from Giggs, Ghetts etc! Big up ALL the OG's of the UK scene and the Grime Boys, Willey, Kano and the whole BBK crew and the Lethal Bizzle.
You rate him. ^ this guy rates him. I rate him. He's here for us when we're sick to the teeth of life to remind us how to keep our heads down with our chins up!
@@k1ngduggerz802 these 'underrated' comments scare the shit out of me. How idiotic sheepsih can humans be? I can't even rhyme it with listening to chester. People keep needing mass appeal and its never enough. If every underrated stamped comment about a human would get a statue there would be no space for these identity less stans to stand in prayer to their idol worship. relax...enjoy the music, share it with your friends, comment on the lyrics. Like we used to. Say something original. i wish i could stop myself from checking comments
Brains can't even walk the streets of this land for fear of instant Karma, but Chester P still getting the love he earned, even if the money never came. So there's that. Big up, Chester and all the crew. You good people made a scene of lasting quality that has stood the test of time.
@Forsaken Pumpkin K-rinos saga is fucking sick. I've never met anyone who's ever heard of it. Someone on RU-vid has put all the tracks back to back and if you listen to them all it's like a film for your ears. Most epic piece of hip-hop ever and hardly known. Fucking tragic
Damn I miss this era of UK hip hop, infact make that hip hop worldwide in this era. There’s still dope gems out there but damn do you have to dig through a mountain of rock to find just a couple of gems now! There’s always been a lot of rock to dig through but the gems when u went digging were plentiful during the late 80s - mid 2000s then the quality took a nosedive & the passion for the artform got lost in a passion for paper by a flood of mediocrity at best fraudulent hip popsters
I'm not telling you this for my benefit as it's all copyright material so all the money goes to the artists featured but I used to host a segment called "ukstandup" where I featured all the underground UK rap in a video compilation precisely for the reason you mentioned about this type of music being hard to find. So if you are a fan of the uk scene look for the "uk stand up" series on my channel.
Is there an answer to what sample/ beat/ song? I first heard this beat on a Wilkie The Kid Mixtape around the same era as this dope ass Chester P ish I just heard for the first time a few weeks ago.....at work no time to give the Willie song...cant research at moment (A DJ Drama mixtape tho). Please let me no this instrumental! P.E.A.C.E.
