In early December 2023, The American Chestnut Foundation decided to discontinue development of the Darling 58 transgenic American chestnut tree. In Part 1 of our two-part Chestnut Chat, panelists will present the performance data, explain the implications for restoration, and answer frequently asked questions about this important shift in TACF's science strategy.
