Melanie Falko wrote a guitar song entitled "ODE TO CHET ATKUNS". shortly after Chet passed away. I miss Chet Atkins. My favorite song by him is "Windy & Warm".
I’m not sure what year this album was recorded, but it sounds a bit like another remix I own. The original was recorded in 1959 and Chet was playing his unmistakable “boom-chick” thumb pick rhythm, ala Merle Travis and then someone (perhaps Chet ?) played the tracks over again in the more laid-back and simplistic style he used in the 90s.
