He is is such a good baller but what i like most about him is his attitude on the field. Never complain, never hesitate to retun to the defensive position, everytime boxing out, trying to block every shot. I´ve rarely seen such maturity in such a young player.

I hate that negative press is what made me pay him attention but Giddy is niiiiiice! As far as Chet goes, this is no surprise to me. If Chet remains healthy and continues to progress, he will be a legit MVP candidate in 2-3 years.

In all statistical categories Wemby leads Holmgren but chets team is winning that is the only difference. Roster wise chet has more good teammates and a superstar in SGA compare to wemby. Its close but i give my vote to wemby cause he lead all the stats. The award ROY is for the rookie who stands out among their fellow rookies. Remember the 03-04 draft although melo and wade made the playoffs, especially wade who took the heat to the 2nd round and still they gave it to LeBron cause he made the franchise relevant, increase merchandise, game attendance and TV broadcast. Just like wemby he made the spurs relevant again and he is performing stats wise cause they cant get a W and i dont see the spurs making the playoffs cause for sure they will try to draft another top 5 pg in the upcoming draft. This is just my personal take both of them deserve it.

Drafted in 2022. 21 years old, wemby is just 19. More easy to have good percentage in a better team. Helpful to be American I guess.

Great piece for the Thunder. Definitely benefitting from the team he’s playing around, allowing him to take what the game gives him without having to force anything or take over games himself. Still doesn’t compare to the ROTY which will be Wemby for sure, but Chet doesn’t have to be some future MVP for him to still be a highly valuable piece.

Wemby: averages more points, more rebounds, more blocks, more steals, better defense Chet: better efficiency, better team
