Good afternoon, I just wanted to thank you for your video. I have been going to garages for over 3 years for the gas leak in my 2008 Aveo's air conditioning, and none of them have been able to fix it. After hundred of dollars spent with it, I found and saw your video, so I was encouraged myself to disassemble the evaporator and I saw that I had the same o-rings that you had in bad condition too. I replaced them and solved the problem for good. Once again thank you for your time.
Thank you for that good question, why the evaporator is forming ice? Because there is no thermostat control in the evaporator coil to protect from ice formation , not same like other car models having thermostat, actually i already installed thermostat for the whole a/c system just watch for my next upload
@@ramzimouane5904 yeah that is expansion valve you are correct and we have different case regarding evaporator freezing , in my case the compressor is running all the way it is not turning off even the evaporatir is already freezing thats why i installed aditional thermostat
Wala po, nagtataka nga ako bakit walang sensor. Ang ginawa ko nag installed na lang ako ng sensor para sa buong airconditioning system makikita mo dyan sa mga uploads ko ,STC 3000 ang ginamit kong thermostat

Yes Sir, it depends on the evaporator location. Some car models the evaporator location is in the middle, in this case you need to remove the dash board. Thank you for watching
@@RaffyIdeas @Survive Everything TV In Honda Accord uploaded by @happywrenching they took the side screws off between the blower motor and the evaporator plastic housing and slided it out. It was in the middle
All car models are not the same as easy to remove that hvac box , yes they are correct because the design of that evaporator box has a screw or bolt for easy dismantling and by this days some new models has an easy access for removing this box
Sir, I have a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo and when I try to put gas on it, it only comes in a little and it cools very low, which you recommend I do because I am retired and I cannot pay for it.
Yes Sir, if you know how to do it, there are 4 parts that you need to check or replace 1 is expansion valve (stuck up or defective),filter dier near to the condenser (clog), the evaporator coil ( need cleaning), and the last one is the clucth coil ( check the small sensor maybe easy to open when hot)
Pero sa ngayon may mga bagong technology na sa pag lilinis ng mga car aircon kahit nasa gitna pa ang location ng evaporator ay no dashboad pulldown na may camera na ngayon at makikita na sa loob at madaling linisin. Sa mga susunod yun na ang gagawin ko nag order na ako para matesting
