Chevrolet did away with knee action before the start of World War Two , unfortunately like the term Stovebolt Six , it has been so ingrained into people's brains that it will probably never be forgotten .the actual Stovebolt engine ran from 1929 to 1936 , the engine was redisgned for 1937 .
