Chevy's AWD system is a "part-time" system. Part-time means that the driver chooses to engage the AWD feature. Do you like to have the control on your AWD system?
I like control but if you need it in a split second time, it’s inconvenient to have to push a button and activate it yourself, same for Blazer and AWD Dial
@@zero2sixty244 most people only need awd when they're stuck so they wouldn't mind the car running on 2wd mode most of the time unless they're performance freaks who need it for racing and whatever.
My wife’s equinox awd does great, and I’ve had it places I probably shouldn’t have. It’s limited by ground clearance but never traction. If you read the owners manual it actually says to turn traction control off in mud/sand and it does help get more power to the wheels.
Chevrolet has a great awd system that is completely ignored by their marketing department. If Chevrolet was smart, they'd slightly lift it and make an all-terrain version to compete with Subaru and Ford Bronco Sport.
My sisters 2022 Chevy equinox got stuck on a snowy road with all season tires, and I had to come pull her out with my 2001 Subaru Impreza with all seasons too
@@haroldbeauchamp3770 yeah I don’t think Chevy awd is as good as new Subarus, in my opinion. And yes in the age of cell phones people are much safer. Merry Christmas to you too !
@@windolite All season were the problem. Put a set of Michelin CrossClimate 2's on it or Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail's and she would NOT have gotten stuck.
I can't drive without it here in FL where it frequently rains bringing the oils to the road surface. If I don't have it on my front wheels slip something fierce and that's with Nitto NT421Q's on the car. I with that it had limited slip and a 50/50 torque split. Sometimes when starting out on a wet hill it struggles a bit to get going.
Hello. Who installed HBO on this car? What generation and what is the petrol/gas ratio and how much higher is the fuel consumption? What were the problems and difficulties and how often does it need to be serviced?
I wish all cars had a button to give the user control to turn the awd on or off instead of having it on full time. As for myself I'd only need to turn it on when I'm stuck in snow. I also have a Hyundai elantra fwd it rarely gets stuck.
@@darkskys1757 Doubtful on that. There competent AWD vehicles but certainly NOT better than a Landrover or Jeep. Secondly, they are PLAGUED with electrical issues, constant dead batteries etc...Because of that ridiculous eyesight technology. They are just not as reliable as they once were.
