CHEVROLET TILT COLUMN PROBLEMS... and the fix  

thats an easy fix bro..i did mine this weekend i thoughtit it was unrepairable.i rebuilt mine and tightened those 4 back screws in the back and put lock tight..

i took off my whole steering column and worked on oitside and used a DENT PULLER

i noticed the right side pin was a bit harder to pull out than the left side..

its better if you unhook the wireing harness at the bottom..

Best way I have seen, it unto all the pins then pull through with a string attached, as when you get the new part, unto the pins on the wires, wrap the string around and tape wires together and pull back through the steering column. Much easier to replace the cam. But, I wish I knew how to fix my key problem. put in a new lock, but it still does not contact the ignition...not sure if the rack is broken or what. Cheers.
