I still manage to see an Astro/Safari rolling around my area in Western NY. They aren't in the greatest of shape for the most part, but they keep ticking away. We had a customer at work who owned a 2000 Astro for a long time. AWD, and had over 200k on it. She'd have kept driving it too if our one ex tech didn't toast the engine after a botched intake manifold gasket replacement.

@@briabba123 What you're missing is that the Astro/Safari was a big hit. GM had the only midi-van around, except for the VW Eurovan, which was a failure. Mercedes was 3 decades late with their Metris, which flopped.
