Another challenge video! Up against Baremetalhw to see who can be the champion in a Movie Car build off! I worked on the Chevy 210 from the Hollywood Knights movie and it turned out decent decent, for a bush ape like me.

Howdy Guys! Here is my Movie Car challenge entry! Its from the movie Hollywood Knights (1980) .. Check out the movie car that BaremetalHW built at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IkuBQ3wkHwE.html . My polystyrene game is pretty weak.. It'll get better though. Hope you enjoy both videos!

You're braver than I am for sanding the trim after painting - yikes! Still going through boxes to find cars for Jimmy - looking for a couple of old Redlines. Since you are exploring paint and body techniques, may I suggest an old one from the 70's that many have never heard of? I don't know if it's possible to do it at this tiny scale, but.........lace paint.

Sideways King 75 is the absolute king of polystyrene. I'm sure you've likely seen some of his videos, but watching them will give you some awesome tips and tricks to use while working with polystyrene. His roll cages and engine modifications are truly something to strive for. I loved both videos and Baremetal's Mutt Cutts custom definitely gave my wife and I a good laugh, but your custom really is a beauty to behold. Good luck on your upcoming customs! Keep it up!!

Man, that was just an awesome build. Felt the tension of the detailing and the reward of the results after. The car is so sharp I have to give this one my vote. Baremetal is the Godfather and the man who introduced me to this world and he certainly went leftfield on his superb build to great effect but this was close to perfection.

I agree, I think diecast's car was a lot more work and time put in. The mutt mobile looks good though.
@PACKERMAN2077
@PACKERMAN2077 5 лет назад
@@acen2000 it's funny you say that because the finished products make it seem the other way around. 😂 if I was a judge and saw them at face value I would have considered the mutt mobile to be the superior build because of how much more material and Fabrication it seems to have required, given the three-dimensional props.

Without a doubt. Baremetal is great at custom work, Marty is great at salvaging from the dead, but our boy RedlineResto here is just the master of painting. It's so sharp and doesn't obscure any detail and really does look like a full size car.
