my c10 has rust on one side can corner and outer rocker should i just replace them on both sides to be safe

I have an 89 Chevy C15 I plan on painting. After seeingnhow good this turned out EVEN THOUGH his lainting method was HORRIBLE. (No feathering, SUPER Blotchy Spraying) i know for a FACT mine will turn out way better
