I discovered your channel a few years ago when I built my first truck and now I’m almost done with a second build with several small projects in between. So thankful for your videos!
Awesome craftmanship as allways. Really happy your back at posting really great quality no nonsense videos. Thank you so much for all the knowledge and tips.
Great instructional vids! No nonsense, to the point. So many RU-vidrs now days think they have to constantly talk and they end up explaining the same things over and over....which causes me to lose interest and move on to the next one, which means they lose revenue. Keep up the great work, you give me inspiration for my 64' short bed fleetside!
You always do such nice work, its fun to watch. Those of us who have done these kinds of repairs can appreciate how much actually goes into what looks like a simple little job.
You were really lucky that those fender bolts especially that one at the very bottom came out so easily w/o having to get the torch fired up or twisting it off . Great job.
Super work, thanks for another great vid. Ive been using your techniques and achieved really good results on my 64.. What made it outstanding is when you cut and repositioned the bottom of the patch to make it line up perfect with the outer rocker. That was really smooth workmanship. You have mad skills.
I was unsubscribed against my wishes..welcome back. Been with you for what 10 years..last video I saw you were building a truck for your brother I believe. Great to see you back
Once again quality work as always. The interior color that looks beige i think was called champagne or Font. You just did to the fender what im going to do to my 1962 Big Back Window Fleetside Shortbed. Love how you expertly execute each repair at hand. Well done. Great teacher. Keep em coming. Blessings. STEVE...YOUR AWESOME!Always love ur vids..Ur the reason I could make the 1st cut on my 60 ...it was real ugly but almost done now..Happy New Year and God bless Your Fam😊
You always do a thorough job on this stuff, even more than most shops might. I started watching your videos when I picked up my 62 C10 to see what I Was getting myself into. 550 hours later my truck is road worthy! Thanks.
Your attention detail is Amazing Steve...it is a God given talent to instruct us all...and still perform the Amazing results across all of your 3 trucks I ve seen...Thank you again for keeping it simple..Bless U and your Fam!
Not going to make this on shine just going to do most of the rust repair, going to clean up the inside cab not for sure on the motor yet but want to get it on the road and I’ll see where I go from there
Did you teach yourself about all the facets of restoring these vehicles? From Body work, welding, painting, and fabrication to just your overall knowledge about the mechanics of doing what you do?
Yes pretty much taught myself going to junkyards and finding old doors to cut in half and welding back up several times before I got it right a lot of trail and error no doubt, painted a few patch panels the same way several times, wanted to make sure I had it down before I starter my red truck
Nice work as always Brother Gibs. Was that Blue 63 your Dad's (in the same video next to the Black C10) or a different one you'll be starting to work on? Give me a hint!! I enjoyed the video as always... Stay safe my friend. Keep On Trucking Brother Gibs👍...
The red one he did is his. He entered it in truck shows and won trophies and plaques like crazy. The blue one is his dad's. This black one is his newest project . Trucker Ray
@raymondtrotter4655 Brother Gibs has his own Red 63 C10 first truck, his Pops is the Blue 63 C10 2nd truck (use to be his brother's) Gibs also worked on his Brother's 59 Chevy Truck in a few of his videos year's ago as well. My question was about the Blue 63 C10 that was in this video next to the Black 63 C10 SB-SS BBW, just was wondering if it is a new project or Gibs Pops C10? Hope I didn't upset you, I'm just trying to keep all of Brother Gibs 63 C10 in the right order lol... Still quite a nice ranch full of HI Spirited C10's, I only have two 63 C10's, Brother Gibs is Corralling some very Hi Spirited 63 C10's on his Ranch, I have trouble just looking after my two 63 C10's. You the Man Brother Gibs... Keep On Trucking Brother 👍...
@number7__879 How long have you been watching his videos? Start from the beginning then you tell me! Maybe Brother Gibs will chime in and let us know! Keep On Trucking Brother👍...
@@dustinsirrine227 Only about 3 years, Gibs was the first car guy I followed, learned a lot. I have a 65 c30 with a short frame. Looking to convert it into a dually, with a short box and customized rear stepside fenders. Also have a 3/4 ton 86 chevy 4×4 and a 61 and 66 ford.
