I have searched and searched and the only thing I can find is that he was very very hurt and pissed off that Norm never told him he was sick If this is true then is it possible that he is so mad at Norm that he cannot forgive him?

I know. People give Dennis shit, but see how Dennis is whenever he is with Norm, he easily stands back and just enjoys Norm’s greatness, never wanting to compete with him, trying to be funnier than him or anything like that, he just loves hanging with Norm. So Dennis is alright in my book.

Miller was better

Miller and Norm were both great.

Dennis' updates were the most intelligent of the three, and Norm's were the most fun. Chevy's were the most first.

Yeah, by the 90's Chevy Chase had lost his touch. His talk show in the early 90's only made it six weeks on the air and he doesnt really have any big, successful movies after the 80's. My friends and I back then used to joke about him having been replaced by an evil automaton as we all enjoyed his 80's movies.

@Raymond Carver yeah, I agree. Kevin had the unenviable job of following Dennis Miller's legendary run and did a good job. Definitely one of the underappreciated cast members. I loved his Politically Incorrect Private Investigator and his single occupancy bathroom attendant sketch is one of the funniest things SNL ever aired.

Dennis sucked.

Dennis is up there. Different style from Chevy and Norm but he was insanely funny at his peak. No one else like him

Chevy has the personality of stale white bread. Even Julia Childs was funnier than him.

The initial cast was bullet proof. Every cast member was perfectly capable of leading a feature comedy, and I think all of them did at some point. Aykroyd, Belushi, Chase, Curtain, Radner... The second golden era, imo, was the Hartman, Miller, Meyers, Carvey, McDonald era... That bleeds into the Adam Sandler, Chris Farley era.... There have been seasons where SNL had the best concentration of comedy talent out there. Not at present, but who knows what the future holds?

The physical cool guy humor of the 70s is timeless yet is less talented
