Oh hey my friend, there's a much much easier way, remove the whole powertrain with harness and pcm intact! No accessory removal in vehicle. Just unbolt the ac compression and set to side without discharging. Take the bottom of the fuse box apart by unbolting the plugs, then pull bottom left harness connector, then disconnect lower harness, gently storage from neighbor connector, grounds and wallah. No starter wires, nothing! Dress new engine out of vehicle. Easier to remove whole assembly my friend, just like the factory.
@@alvarorodriguez8685 I like to take it out this way shown in the video. Zoticus says he likes to remove the whole unit. Its a job easily done in a day. 6 hours max.
Great video! I have a Chevy Sonic 1.8L MT 5 speed with 160,000 original miles and runs great. The throwout bearing is whining with clutch disengage. No drivability problems but need to replace throwout bearing before the clutch can't disengage. Will it be possible to take out engine and MT together from the top? Thank you
@@bobdeengineer7396 I'm sure it is. A manual trans weighs next to nothing and should be very small. These things are super easy to work on! Good luck my friend, thanks for watching! 👍👍
I've been wanting to, I'll start with my next video and see how it goes. If it works out I'll keep that going. My gopro doesn't have the greatest microphone.
