I've got to get this van out of the way. It was in bad shape when it arrived many many years ago. I should just tow it, but it would be a lot more fun to drive it. If I can get it going, of course!
Been sitting for God knows how long and started right up, got to love Chevrolet! I always love your videos you got a good sense of humor and a ton of knowledge and common Sense. Keep up the good work and be safe out there 👍☮️🇺🇲
Great vids mate. Hello from country Western Australia. Love your commentary and dead pan delivery. Fun to watch. Keep at it mate and I reckon you will get in the hundreds of thousands of subscibers. I did on the first vid of yours I saw.
Looks like a special purpose thing? Man I would have suggested unbolting the door on the driver's. Plus when it gave up on moving it looked in my thoughts like you'd lift the front with the digger and back the Oshkosh under it for a jack stand to drop the motor. I might have tried unbolting the calipers ? But during the first movements that left front did turn quite free for a brief quarter turn. I had hope for ya.
Pay $49 for a control cable for a mower I'm working on or do it the low buck way and cut the cable housing shorter as it was too long anyway and use an aluminum ferrule from a junk bike to crimp on the cable? 🤔 Yeah, the cheap fixed now way. No buck shed.
Hey brother...I need those doors off that van for my 93 Chevy G20 hightop conversion van...my van has those ever so lovely power windows that I hate with a passion!...lol...I want to change em' over to the old school manual window cranks which your van has & as an added bonus yours has the old school outside mirrors as well so that's def a good thing...and...it's white...well...somewhat white...lol
Great parts vehicle for sure. Im in CT and the constant rain this summer never let the ground dry out, therefore soft moist dirt everywhere and good traction nowhere.
This content and video quality is of a channel 5 -10 times the size. The van body parts could probably be useful too. Again you are having way too much fun!
"Grandma? Did you happen to hit a telephone pole while driving Grampa's box van back home, last night?" "Why, no, Dearie. Why would you ask that?" "There is a Streetlight on the back of the truck". "Oh, MY!!" 😂
I thought you were going to cut the front brake hoses to get the front wheels to turn. Until you showed the rear crossmember, that pretty much stopped the show. ✌
That poor van was creaming in agony for death haha - EDIT: I even sampled some of those dreadful sounds, great for music. If you don't mind of course :) impressive it even was... "driveable" of sorts
