Gasoline, have to look at fuel pump lines above tank to determine which pump it is. I was able to squeeze my phone in and take a pic to be able to see which pump before removing the tank.
Honestly, what a good attitude about a crummy situation. Also the irony, that my same year make and model van did the same thing in a Walmart parking lot as well. It's currently sitting in my driveway. Perhaps I should have gotten it towed to a shop. Pretty sure it needs a new fuel pump lol

Mobile mechanics do worknon cars in wallyworld lots, at least in FL. Other ones may have an issue with it, maybe ask manager & mention youll try not to a leave mess
I’m at a loss with those two connectors directly on the pump…. How did you pull the quick connect off? Not the metal one, the large plastic one? I understand thumb tabs are squeezed but I can’t even free my connector to spin it…
hardest part of the job if I recall correctly. Pretty sure I broke the metal lines into the old pump and fought with them with 2 hands and wrenches then reattached to new pump......pretty sure that's what I ended up doing
Coincidence? The fuel pump died in my Explorer the last time I went to Walmart! But I cheated! I called a tow truck to take it to the dealer and let them fix it! It took them a week!
Took me an afternoon but most of the time was dealing with the pressure fitted gas lines(I hate them). It hasn't completely failed but I think at high rpm it wasn't delivering enough fuel and there is no filter on this van so replaced the pump. A week is ridiculous.
My 05 Chevy van maybe two issues first going uphill and more recent steep down hill on quarter tank engine stalls untill i get it to more level ground also more resent this quick starting van now has to take one or two key turns to start any help on a solution
Very well could be fuel pump failing. Can have fuel pressure tested manually or check for lean fuel ratio on computer diagnostic. Fuel filter in tank with pump so no easy filter change will help. Poor design IMO.
I think contaminants building up contributes to it. With the pump in the tank there is no real filter before the gas goes into the pump. Back on the day the fuel pump was by the engine and it went through a replaceable filter so it was cleaned of any possible contaminants before going into the fuel pump.
Just found your channel. Off topic but was wondering what size are your all terrain tires front and back and do you have a lift? I have a cutaway 3500 also and looking to upgrade the tires. Thank for any info you can give me.

It really is needed for the front. I have enough tire clearance in the rear so in a pinch you might be able to get away with a 2 inch leveling kit just for the front. I needed the 2 inches because it has a crazy custom rear bumper that was too low to the ground
