I would like to get the door open limiter reinstalled on my 97. You always have to remember to hold on to the door so you don't slam a near by car or object, or that it doesn't bang on the stop like it's going to break off the hinge!
Unfortunately, the limiter arm was hot pressed onto the peg that's part of the hinge from the factory. The only way to replace it is to replace the hinge itself. LMC Truck does have a bolt on replacement hinge kit that you might want to look into, they're only about $80 per door.
Yeah there is nothing I looked around too, but LMC Truck does make a hinge replacement kit that is bolt-on for about $80 per door, You might want to call them as the kit might include instructions.
Hi the paint is Dupli-Color BGM0506 Indigo Metallic Exact-Match Paint. GM used this same basic color through about 2003-ish I think. I bought the paint at my local O'Reilly's
