Quick tip: the bushings melt right off if you put a lighter under them. In my case i was having trouble taking them out so i just lit 'em on fire and they melted right off.
I'm going to add some what I think is helpful information: I bought a windshield wiper arm remover from Advance Auto that DID NOT WORK ("PT Performance Tool W86555"). So I proceeded on to Auto Zone (which didn't stock a windshield wiper arm remover) and bought what I thought might work (an "OEM tie rod puller 26072") which they had in stock and right on the floor in the tool section; it worked perfectly. I also used it to press in the new vinyl bushing. Finally I'd like to add that if you use this puller on the wiper arm with the hood DOWN you do not have to loosen any hood bolts.
Thank you for the video it helped alot did it myself but now my wipers are stuck in the upright position they do work now but when I turn off the wipers they are in the upright position do you know how to fix this?
Everything gets moved around when you have it apart, so before you put the arms back on, run the motor once and turn it off. It will stop in the "home," or off, position, then put the arms back on in the down position. Worked for me.
