Thanks for the video. Lots of good diagnostic information for a bad starter on that model of GM truck (and other Chevy, GMC, etc. around that same year). I will always appreciate a video that tries to explain in detail what they were perceiving before and after the malfunction. IMO that's more useful than a video showing only how to replace the part... Cuz there's a million already of how to replace the starter. However, like another commenter mentioned, maybe next video try to consciously keep yourself focused on making your point. Maybe make a list of the points you want to touch and have it with you as your commenting. You might even at the very beginning mention that it ended up being the starter, and here's what lead up to me getting to that conclusion. That way you won't frustrate a potential viewer who was wanting to know what the problem was for you but didn't want all the diagnosing. Especially with auto repair videos, people are probably going thru a bunch of them desperately trying to find a fix to their own. So if the video is more than a couple minutes long, definitely give a little summary at the beginning. Just my two cents bro. I've never done a repair video, so really I can't say anything, lol. But I mean only the best bro. Good vid, keep it going.
Hey my name is Timothy I'm having the same trouble same year same motor same truck I haven't been to Dunkin donuts so I ruled that out checked all the other battery alternator starter
I'm having the same problem. But I changed the relay and it wasn't that. And then I had someone in my truck turn the key over and I could hear the relay click and I did the same thing with the starter and it just clicked also. So having some common knowledge and since 😆 🤣. Also check the batt and alt and with a little common sense, figured out in about 8-10 minutes that is was probably the starter I was 98% sure of that. Anyway bro if you're going to continue to make videos that people watch that may help them out, for the love of baby G Wiz please just get to the point. Stop moving around, go over what your going to say, cut out about 80% of that and read and watch others vids on the subject and gather some knowledge before you upload your video/edit, re-edit and edit again. Anyway thanks for the reassurance with the problem with my truck 🚚 🛻 🙂
