I live in the Mississippi Coast and swam out of my house for Hurricane Katrina. You are hundreds of miles inland, you’ll get a day off work at the worst.
A Nascar rep told me about ticketmaster a couple months ago when I was on the phone with him about Talledega tickets. Ticketmaster can burn in hell for all I care.
The Pontiac Firebird body continued in IROC for another four years after production of the street car ended, and it might've gone on for even longer if the series didn't run out of money, so we might be waiting a while for a new GM model in NASCAR (that's not a truck or EV I guess).
Technically they can race a car that doesn't exist yet, and release it a year later to the public... Happened in 1989 when the Lumina replaced the Monte Carlo
Could go Cadillac, still under GM. I stick to local events, $1000 to go to Nascsr? $20 for local? Local wins out everytime. Crossing 3 state lines to go to Nascar just isn't worth it.
The only racing I can afford is local tracks. I can no longer afford a NASCAR ticket. Haven't been able to afford NASCAR tickets for years now. Ticket master is just a legal scam.
I think D.Ricardo will end up in the INDY Car Series Before he goes to NASCAR Same thing happened when Romain Grosjean after he was Dumped from HAAS In the F1 series
Danny Ric has stated in multiple interviews that IndyCar ovals scare him too much, but recently he's said he wants to do the Daytona 500 and some race a Bathurst (either Supercars or the Endurance race). I don't think he wants to go full time at any series right now.
Did something happen in the rules I forgot ?? Was it NOT a rule to run in NASCAR Manufactures were required to sell so many units to the public to b allowed to run their Cars ?????
Nascar going to Ticketmaster with the price gouging is no real unexpected move. Nascar has been price gouging its fans for years. its truly disgusting , but what can you do ? STAY HOME AND WATCH ON TV FOR FREE !!!!!!!!
I live in Vegas and I don't go anywhere that is Ticketmaster. It's ONE BIG RIP OFF. I'm sure a lot of people will find out and change the're plans. Garry Fuller Sr
From what Denny Hamlin said, the current Camaro body is “the standard” for the NASCAR Gen 7 body, so, why would they change it? It sounds like Ford and Toyota bodies can only hope to be as good, they can’t really be better
Sounds like the Chevy SS days. As a diehard Chevy fan, I hope they keep the brand in the cup series. Heritage is important, and we need Chevy. What they do is beyond me. Most states are issuing electrification law mandates to dealerships, so I don't know how Chevy will continue to exist based on these restraints.
Well ticket master was the only way you'd get tickets for the Mexico race. Nothing new. BS prices for the favor of them taking my money for every ticket I get
They should switch to the Cadillac CT4-V. The road car shares the same basic platform as the now-dead Camaro, and the race car wouldn't have to change too drastically. Hell, that's what they did when they switched from the Chevy SS to the Camaro.
The shirt my guy. 👍 im 10 seconds in and i thank i still have my hat from that race. That font in the fact it's purple, 2000 Brick yard? No 95. 04s colors were similar but the font is different. And 97 had similar font but the colors were blue and green i thank.
I gave up on NASCAR more than a decade ago. The France family has lost its way. The sole advantage of family control was they could make good longer term decisions that a public company would have difficulty with given their shorter investment window. But thats not what they are doing. Can you imagine Big Bill handing over hundreds of millions to LiveNation/TicketMastet? Never.
It would be cool if he came to indycar and drive for prema since it’s going to be a new team for indycar in 2025, Logan Sargent & Daniel ricciardo for prema 2025 would be crazy lol
The Chevy equinox was right there, which is basically just a hybrid Chevy SS, which Nascar ran from 2013 through 2017( in the Sprint / Monster Cup series day). Plus, they use the same bodies in ARCA Menards series, which you can convert the body kardashian style and ultimately make a Chevy Bolt
"We here at Cheverlot we would like to debut you the ______ for thr 2025 nascar season. This new ____ will be our new car, same design but look at it as if it were something else"
It's interesting that the Camaro branding has been removed for next year's chevys. Maybe come 2026 I'll have a retooled and rebranded Cadillac, or even the Corvette, as their racing car. The templates have to be in by the end of the month in order to compete in 2026, if I recall correctly.
Support your local and regional dirt tracks, short tracks and road courses instead. This deal with be the death-nail to attendance at any major NASCAR track.
I think they're just using the camaro as a placeholder for the paint schemes that are getting shown off, I still see the Cadillac CT5 Blackwing will replace the camaro next year, or the year after.
Cadillac definitely does not match the NASCAR demographic. They are not a car you see in parking lots at NASCAR races.NASCAR races I'd guess Chevy, Ford and Ram pickup trucks account for 75% of the vehicles in those parking lots. I'm sure there are a few Caddy's, but not many. From my twice p
@@markalbert9011 just so you're aware of between 1948 and 1954 Cadillacs raced in NASCAR before all the manufacturer stuff started but with all your wisdom you might want to tell me what car GM wants to throw in there they're not going to throw the Corvette in there I know they're working on a new Impala
@@markalbert9011 and this is a separate topic did you know the Jaguar won a NASCAR race in 1954 look it up it was at the 1954 race at the New Jersey airport I believe top of my head I'm not googling this
