On today’s video, we were called by the local Sheriff’s Department to tow a Chevy truck after it hit a parked amazon van!

Not my favorite way to load, but the lesser of two evils in some situations. This was a Gas truck, so I wasn’t too concerned with weight.

Never understood it either. Saturday was pretty busy for us, today was surprisingly slow. However we have a lot of tropical rain moving our way, so this week is likely going to be busy.

That's nothing compared to what happened to my brother who got into a fustercluck in the TX Panhandle while traveling from South Texas to Denver last week. He crashed & rolled his Tahoe with wife & 4 kiddos onboard. Jaws of life had to be dispatched as wife suffered neck/back/knee injuries and 7yr old had broken arm!

Let me ask you. This one was almost straight across the road. Why did you choose to swing the rear end around and not the frontend?

Because I could get it in park, and the tires would slide where ever I pull them, rather than where they’re pointed, unless I can block or skate them to stop them from rolling, or if the steering was damaged and couldn’t steer it.

Noticed you DO NOT HAVE a BEEPER warning when you are backing up. That seems to enter danger to the accident scene. People are always moving around, and you don't want to add additional complications to any accident scene. Why is this a safe practice< and how does it help you?

I’ve worked around equipment my whole life. No one cares about backup alarms. If they don’t notice a big red truck moving, they don’t have the common sense to move out of the way for some beeping sound.
