I have a 2014 Chevy Spark, and this video was extremely helpful, & right on the mark! Took my time to make sure not to miss a step or lose parts. So repair time was about 40 min. You were also correct on new fan noise. I bought $40 off Amazon. Works great but much louder.
My heat works but my air stop working and the shop said it was my Air conditioner motor. If i replace this will my air work again? It blows just not cold
I did replace the resistor cause the blower stop working but after I replaced it was working good but it did stoped again.so you think maybe it’s the blower.or what can be the problem.can you let me know please.
Hey! Unless you got a faulty resistor then yes, i would imagine the blower went out. Its common that they die together. A little cheat you can do is turn the blower knob up on high, lay underneath the passenger dash and give the bottom of the blower motor a good whack with a rubber mallet or something similar. If it turns on... Then yup its bad. It will usually work temporarily.
Thank you so much! I have working heat now. However, now it only kicks on at 1 and none of the others, even though i replaced the resistor at the same time. Better than nothing and 1 is definitely high, any advice appreciated!
Thanks for the video . . . much appreciated. Any chance you could point out where the blower motor resistor is located (part 95369798)? Haven't found anything that shows were if could be found.
In 2018 spark, a rodent got in and peed and pooped on cabin air filter. I changed the filter. Would there be a way it could have gotten into the blower? The filter was intact, just filthy.
Hi. Thank you for you video. Any chance to make another video how to replace the AC/Heat controller (on dashboard). Can’t find any on internet for that
Can you please help me for my car bcz I have got spark 2012 and the blower is working just on 1 or 2 not on 3 or 4 and for A/C whenever I turned it on it won't work on 1 or 2 but but when I tried to turn it 3 or 4 the blower stops but A/C light turns on. I really Don't know what to do ?
Yes that would be your "blower motor resistor" failing. if you pause this video at the 5:15 mark you can see it on the left hand side of the screen with the small wire harness into it. It's just beside the blower
I looked, but couldn't find any helpful videos, such as this one, created by you. Perhaps you're too busy with those mani-pedis? @drewforthefew Thanks!! This video saved me $500!
