Superb acting!

With this film, Uttam Kumar tried to break into Bollywood. He was rejected summarily. Bad Hindi pronunciation, crass aping of Shammi Kapoor and other factors like bad dancing (twist was in fashion in 60s).

Uttam Kumar ruined his remaining career with this film and this cheap dance form. It may have been suitable for Sammy Kapoor and like wise Bombay heroes of those times but certainly not compatible with the status and stature of Uttam Kumar.

Uttam Kumar is just NOT fit for this role....no wonder he flopped in Bollywood!!🤣🥵

Uttam kumar is not fit for hindi films. I have seen no of bengali films where his films were classics and he lived in the characters. Some how he is not suited to hindi films.
