Gary, thanks for taking us along to visit the Chi Town layout. It’s great to see how much your grandsons enjoy trains. Best regards from sunny Florida. 🌴🦎🌞
Great Looking Big Layout. The Gramdkids look like they had a Blast. FUN is what it's all about. Glad youns had a great time. Thanks for Sharing so we could all see it. Matt and Jebb
Unbelievably cool. And I can tell you those Santa Fe’s are not Menards. Those are All Nations / Atwater die-cast kits form the 50s and 60s. In that configuration and with a paint job like that probably $2,000.
Wow Gary, this video slipped by me…just caught it today. Nice layout at Chi-Town. Ya know its cold when you have two doors to pass through. Haha. I didn’t see the G kids do any running, so I’m sure you’ll be welcomed back. On a two rail O scale, can you run regular Lionel rolling stock? Always good to end a great day with Wendy’s. Skål from CA land 👍😊
🌴 Hi Ron: I also miss videos since YT stopped doing the email notifications. Yes: Lionel & MTH scale rolling stock will work, but you must change out the trucks. Wendy's was closed, so we went home for dinner. Homemade by Train Room Pam. This was a fun video to shoot, the G kids had a great time. Take care: Gary from Michigan, with snow still on the ground. ☃️ ☮️
I'm jealous! I've gotta go 70 some odd miles to get there! Lol! I'm glad to see CTUS is still in operation. Some day when I'm not so busy I want to go back. BTW, did you pick up the new D&M boxcars Lionel put out?
@@trainroomgary it was in the 2021 catalog, delivery was slated for delivery earlier this year. It's not the maroon/white split boxcar. And I believe there were two road numbers.
Hey there Gary, did you pick up Lionel's Ford Vintage Boxcar yet??? I got mine from Transworld's online website along with Lionel's LionChief Plus 2.0 Baby K4 Pennsylvania #3750.
Hi Jacob: I have the Ford Vintage Boxcar. Check it out in this video & thanks for watching. 😎 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CBr_6ZmHeQE.html
Yeah too bad your video wasn’t about a half hour to 45 minutes long. I bet there’s a lot more to videotape but I’ll take the 10 minutes and thank you for sharing I’ve been in O Scale 2 Rail for about 7 to 8 years. The sad part is when I lived in Illinois a friend that lives 35 miles away had a layout which we could run on but it was only like two or three times a year I don’t have a basement in Illinois, now that I retired and moved to South Carolina, North Myrtle Beach Area. I still don’t have a basement and there’s no O Scale 2 rail down here that I can find I’m so disappointing I’m thinking about selling all my trains and just saying forget it. No since having all this money tied up and I can’t even use it really depressing.
😎 Hi Mr. Bill: We like to vacation in Myrtle Beach - Maybe you can set up your trains in a spare bedroom, a lot of guys with no basements do this. Thanks for watching. Gary 🚂
