If you don’t know the talented Chiara Civello’s name yet, it’s only a matter of time. Her forthcoming album Eclipse, produced by Marc Collin (of Nouvelle Vague fame, among many others album like Yasmine Hamdan), is being released world-wide this year. With he smooth velvet voice and her atypical, cosmopolitan career - she trained at Berklee, with stints singing with some of Brazil’s greatest (Daniel Jobim, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque) and many international stars - Chiara is now presenting her first offering in Italian, Portuguese and French (check out her sublime Sidney Bechet cover). In the meantime, Chiara is releasing a three-track EP, a sort of travelogue, a peek into her many creative encounters around the world, where pop and Bossa nova influences take a magic carpet ride on a jazzy, electronic-tinged current This summer, she will be heading out on a European tour, supporting Gilberto Gil on his REFAVELA 40 dates while we wait patiently for Eclipse to be released in the fall

Si le nom de la talentueuse Chiara Civello ne vous dit rien encore, ce n’est qu’une question de temps. Produit par Marc Collin (à qui l’on doit, entre autres, aux albums de Nouvelle Vague, Yasmine Hamdan...), son nouvel album Eclipse sort dans le reste du monde cette année. Avec sa voix de velours, son parcours atypique et cosmopolite - formée à Berklee, Chiara est aussi passée par le Brésil où elle a chanté avec les plus grands, comme Daniel Jobim, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque et de nombreuses autres étoiles de la musique international - elle se présente à nous pour la première fois avec un titre en italien , en portugais et en français (sublime reprise de Sidney Bechet) reflet de ses multiplies voyages et rencontres à travers le monde.
