It's tough to find anybody other than Mexicans doing the cooking in reasonably priced neighborhood restaurants. I think the Greek joints were the first to hire Hispanic kitchen staff.
I was born in England and love the Irish people (North & South) and their amazing culture...it looks as if at the very least we all have breakfast in common!! ;) Morning breakfast is an excellent place to start the day again...just a thought. :)
Well done for getting the Full Irish correct (Only thing missing is the Mushroom and Tomatoes? English has no White (Hogs) Pudding, Welsh does not have White (Hogs) or Black (Blood) Pudding but has Kelp (Laverbread) and Leeks. Scottish does not have either Pudding or Haggis but does include had made sausage meat and are formed into squares the size of a slice of bread (Lorne) Said to have been made to make making sausage sandwiches easier
Wasn't hungry till I watched this,I'm off to the shop to get stuff for a full english😀as I live in Lincolnshire in England we have the best sausages in the world, maybe.
@@lambhdeargh I must be wearing orthopedic shoes, because I stand corrected. It's weird that an English-born food reviewer would refer to a full Irish as being from the UK
@@bordaz1 Your shoes stand wrong then dude. I'm from the North of Ireland, the breakfast you refer to is not English nor Irish, It's Northern European by default. Black pudding is North European, as is the sausage, but the salting of the belly and loin pork to make bacon is in fact an Irish thing! That being, the Irish were the first to cure bacon to today's modern standards. Also an Ulster Fry contains potato bread and soda farls which are cooked on a griddle. Not baked in an oven, as is shown. This is the difference between soda bread which is from the other three provinces in Ireland and farls which are from Ulster. Also your reference to a full Breakfast being either Irish or English becomes null and void, due to the commonality of ingredients as neither England nor Ireland as they exist now, were non existant at the time of it's inception.
Never..... Never....... NEVER... mention the United Kingdom if you're talking about anything Irish. You would wake up with a crowd around you if you did that in Ireland.
Typical of America these days.. A latino preparing other ethnic foods in an ethnically based bar/ restaurant.... Truly sad... You would never see this the other way around...
This kind of breakfast is a recent import to Ireland . Back bacon rashers, eggs and soda bread would be common as would potatoes. Beans from the yanks wwIi, black and white pudding northern England and Scots, though blood sausage and white sausage hundreds of yrs old in Europe.
Well those sausages are cheapest you can get of the supermarker shelfs. In UK you can get them in poorest places normaly restaurants or good brekfast places doesnt use anything like that .If you look up in Ramsey chanell you will find how they are made dont think you will like that video:D
England= England... Great Britain= England, Wales, Scotland, NORTHERN Ireland... British Isles= Great Britain + the Republic of ( southern ) Ireland... I'm a Yank, but I believe this is correct- feedback???
@@lordred4116 Thnx for the clarification; however, I've seen the ' British Isles ' reference used in the context of a GEOGRAPHIC location, not a political one. No insult was intended...
@@DeaglanZOMG Not looking to cause a transatlantic feud here; Wikipedia defines 'The British Isles' as including the island of Ireland in its entirety as a GEOGRAPHIC designation, NOT a political one, & that's the source I used. Your argument seems to be with WIKI & not with me. I'm old enough to have been aware of the ' Late Troubles ', Ian Paisley, Bernadette Devlin, & the IRA's activities, so I'm aware that we're bumping up against some feelings that may still be raw. No disrespect is intended...
As someone half RoI, half Scottish, there are a couple of corrections here. Great Britain is a geographic designation for the largest island in the British Isles, as such it consists of mainland England, Scotland and Wales. The British Isles is the name for the entire archipelago. The more correct political term since joint settlements between the British and Irish governments is to refer to the archipelago as 'these islands', so that no government correspondence refers to the island of Ireland as 'British', for obvious reasons. Beyond that, the main thing missing is the inclusion of the term 'United Kingdom', which is where Northern Ireland comes in as united with Britain, hence why the full name of the nation is 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland'. Despite that being the name, other islands are fully incorporated, such as the Hebridies, Shetland Isles, and Isle of Wight. Other nearby islands, such as the Isle of Man and Channel Islands are, despite popular belief, crown dependencies rather than fully incorporated parts of the United Kingdom.
Someone please explain the difference between "Britain" "England" "United Kingdom" "the British isles" all that stuff. I am Irish though so sorry for not knowing. Someone help me out here.
Why is it that every cooking video on here the people preparing Your food that You put in Your mouth 'DO NOT WEAR SANITARY GLOVES WHILE TOUCHING SAID FOOD'!!! cheez!!
Of course I am biased as being a Scot I am used to a real Scottish breakfast. This Irish breakfast is for little Irish children. A Scottish breakfast is eggs, link sausages, square Lorne sausages, bacon, mushrooms, black pudding, white pudding, Haggis, potato scones, lots of buttered toast and tea. Just the meal to start the day. This is the meal that the serve eternally in heaven whilst surrounded by Tartan clad Angels playing the Scottish Bagpipes. Aye Man that will be Eternal Bliss.
Those sausages are weird looking before he cooks them. Are they pre-cooked or something? Other than that, pretty accurate, especially the back bacon which you don't see much of in the states. Also you'd think that your average English person would be pretty aware of the whole Ireland not being part of the UK thing, but then Brexit happened and you realize that even a large number of British politicians aren't, so then you laugh everytime you see them criticsizing Americans in youtube comment sections for their lack of worldliness.
Hilarious! Stay in Yorkshire and they’ll claim it’s a full Yorkshire Breakfast. Sorry, but that’s a full English Breakfast with the addition of white pudding. The only real different breakfast like that would have soda bread and a potato farl, that would be an Ulster Fry.
Eire is not in theUK. Bangers is a term for poor quality sausage. During WW2 sausages were made with mostly rusk and fat, little meat, hence they used to go " bang" when cooked
Most of the patrons couldnt point to Ireland on the map lol btw black pudding and white pudding is English. The only thing Irish is the tatties then again they didnt have too many of them either
This is not an Irish breakfast an Irish breakfast contains of, potato bread soda bread with all the rest. I make a fry in our house and the street wants some lollol
