With much love and respect to Lino's, I prefer (by a slight margin) John's Pizza on 11th street. You'll have to take another road trip to Rockford and give them a try!
People ask this same question constantly. It's not about just Chicago but about showcasing all good and cool places to eat all over Illinois. The show has been going for years and they just can't change a name or successful formula just because they run out of places in the area in the years since they've started. Why not be happy that places like this are getting showcased and brought to the light instead of complaining they're not in the Chicago area?
it's a complicated question, salads are 7 dollars and burgers are 2 bucks. Monsanto. because everyone is running for a better life and no one is happy with what they have, the work and sacrifice a good nutritional meal.
+play Cod there's also the fact that the people who sell fatty foods, lobby to get people them.....so you have misinformation, like eggs being good for you or carrots and bananas having ridiculously high sugar content. On top of that, many people have a seditary life style, where you drive every where instead of walk. sugar is a big issue, it's in everything because corn is in everything. if you look at a place like Costa Rica where everyone used to be skinny till McDonalds moved in selling sugary drinks and addictive burgers, you'll see it's a lot about how American food is processed and corn (sugar) based. all of those Costa Ricans are fat now. and I'm no better, I'm a fat white American, but I'm trying to slim down soon. the truth is you need money to eat better and money to join gyms and get into programs, so unless you have extra money you can throw to that, your kinda stuck.
Marcus Savina The first step to losing weight is to eat less. I do the same right now also. I didnt change what I eat so much, just the volume of how much I eat. I just eat less. By that I lost a good amount over the last 3 weeks only. You should challenge yourself to just eat less, too. Its all in your mind. Challenge yourself.
