This was a great example of positive black role models. I, myself, was just got accepted to my top dental school this year. Like the vast majority mentioned, our percentage of black overall healthcare professionals are extremely low. Much like most of the doctors on the stage, I grew up in a small town known as Dixmoor, Illinois where the poverty rate is still till now very high. I will also like to give back to my community and help young kids of all backgrounds reach and achieve their goals. This was just an excellent and inspiring seminar.
Congratulations 👏👏👏🎉 what God has for you is just for you and the gates of hell cannot come up against whatever your hearts desire is. The devil will try you, but keep moving forward 😊
Excellent seminar !! This is how change is made. Positive role models with expertise in their professions and successful experience in navigating the obstacles we face in a racist society. We need this type of dialogue in every state, where those ppl exhibiting black excellence in any & all professions make a diligent effort to reach back into our communities to pass on knowledge, wisdom, inspiration, support & a helping hand. Sometimes all it takes is a ready smile, pat on the back & a familiar story to change a life in a positive way.
I love the panel. But Mohawk Dr. If you were white I would say the same thing. The first time I saw a dentist like that I questioned him. For me, it's not about color. I'm just old school. I'm black.
Are you going to take care of any black men and woman who are pure, if not and have a bias screw off and play with patty the patsy leave your comments at the door. And grow up bud living the life of hate is a sure way to earn you a hotel in hell. @popeye12money
@@popeye12money I care what she thinks, and she's right. If I saw a mohawk, green hair, nose ring, tattoos... these are red flags that make me question that person's character, mindset, and judgment. My body's my body, my teeth are my teeth. They're mine, and I value them. If I sense trouble, I'm entitled to protect myself.
Bless all the young men and The young man at the end stated as a child he was a knuckleheads as children can be a knucklehead sometimes , But change can happen if we let it I loved that someone planted a seed and it resonated in him he isn't a knucklehead anymore The proof is staring us in the eyes and speak volume he is setting before all being a great inspiration like all the young men who are setting on the panel And they are so amazing to be honest and open with raw truth Thank all you young men I'm so proud of them All in Jesus name to God be the glory 🙏 💪 Amen
Black physicians doctors have been sponsored by representatives and private. Organizations for centuries as a philanthropist it should be duly noted scholarships and academic excellence must be achieved at the highest of standards to be sponsored
