Another fact I notice. When watching dark knight, when commissioner Gordon talked to harvey dent in his office, you will see a the river in the background. Though it’s blurry, if you look close, the river is green. In Chicago, once a year the river is died to green for Irish festivities
As a lifelong Chicagoan, my opinion is you hit the bullseyes. My wife worked at Willis Tower and they saw multiple shots being done. The underground area saved my ass from subzero weather many times. Re: Lower Wacker, with your older relatives, the daytime was a better choice. There are MANY street races on it at night. Also, I got mugged on the street where the Batpod rolled onto LaSalle (Quincy Street between Jackson and Adams). Again, very well done.

Awesome, I'm from Brasil and every year since 2012 I've been visiting Chicago and going to every Batman movie locations!
I'm from the Philippines and will be getting a chance to visit chicago this weekend, I am a huge batman fan and stumbled upon your video bc i wanted to visit the exact locations the batman films were shot! thank you so much for this video! this will help me narrow down where to go and not get lost. The video is also top quality from the editing, commentary, and the jokes in between! great job!
Awesome! The Bank Robbery location is super easy-highly recommend it. You should compile as many guides as you can since I didn’t cover all of them. Have fun out there and take lots of pictures!
Been in Chicago for 3 months and took the tour where they spoke about the batman scenes. Excellent video going back and forth the film and the actual location.
They filmed some of the Matt Reeves’ The Batman in Chicago but not nearly as much as Nolan’s. Production must have been sneaky during and after the Covid Pandemic.
Gotham is Chicago. Even in the newest The Batman movie, majority of the city landscape scenes are filmed in Chicago. Like the last Nolan Batman films, Chicago serves as the perfect backdrop and a character of its own. Gotham has always been Chicago.
This is just what I was looking for. The maps are great! I go to Chicago a lot and beyond Board of Trade, was wondering where all the exact places are. Well done! Can’t want to take my son next time. His fave movie and he’ll see these streets we drive down so often in a whole new light!
It’s a pretty great city. You can’t throw a rock down the street without hitting something that was in the films. We walked up and down Navy Pier without realizing it was used as a location too. Not to mention all the other famous Chicago movie locations.
This was great to watch as someone who's from chicago, seeing others appreciate the structures reminds myself that I should stop and appreciate the architecture more and not be such a shut in.
It was so weird and conspicuous Chicago was in the dark knight and new york was in the dark knight rises. The joker was in the NYC suburbs but nowhere that most people visit, so it wasn't easy to tell. People don't really visit Brooklyn, Bronx, or jersey city /Hoboken as much. They deliberately avoided the parts of new york that anyone who has visited would immediately recognize
Just went to Chicago for the 1st time this past weekend and had no clue I was walking around Gothem city untill we went on a boat tour then it all made sense. And 1 week later your video just pops up on my algorithm 😂. Awesome video
hi!!! what a great video... i'll be travelling Chicago next June. you mentioned you have marked on google maps the locations. can you share them with me?
Some People Ask Me Have You Ever Been And Gotham City Before IN I Look At Them Like There Crazy iN Said I Already At Gotham City CHICAGO BECAUSE CHICAGO IS GOTHAM CITY BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I'M AT THAT'S WHAT I'M FROM CHICAGO GOTHAM CITY.
Helpful video - great work! Was in Chicago in Dec '23 and Feb '24 - in Dec found and went up on the parking garage and stood at "The Joker Intersection". Where was the top of GC Police? Seems that the Gordon/Dent/Batman scene (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ltC68UY7UX0.html&ab_channel=JorgeHerrera) must have been shot nearby.
@@jonathanalvarez3663 Thanks, Jonathan. I was up on the top level back in December after finding a way into the garage as a pedestrian. 😉 Was cool being there!
