As a hawks fan I don't see it changing much in regular season as long as we have smith or locke as starters. We simply do not match up well with starters in general compared to other teams. Our playbook is so obvious too.

Everyone can keep cracking jokes on Da Bears. Our 3 phases and roster have looked impressive in the preseason yet under a first year head coach and first year GM! Still a lot more work to do though! Hearing all the awful announcing during the preseason makes me appreciate Steve Levy so much more. Calls such a good game. The worst announcer had to be that lady in the Raiders game wondering where the punter was when they were on the opponents 9 yard line. Like WTF???

Man. Even though this wasn’t a good showing for them, watching highlights from Seattle’s two preseason games, you can really see on the field how much better they got w/ the draft they had. Cross, Mafe, Melton, Bryant. And their RBs are pretty damn good without even seeing Kenneth Walker yet, who might be the best of em all. Didn’t totally see it at the time, but they crushed this draft.

Man. Coming from someone who is a realistic Bears fan, and a die hard. Seeing them in training camp, the second team/depth was really good! Seeing the starting oline though was hard to watch 🤦🏾‍♂️. I’m not surprised they played like this, and I love seeing our depth being solid. It isn’t by mistake.

Any chance Travis Homer has a semi breakout year? The dude has 5.9 yards per carry on 64 attempts and is a hell of a pass catcher. Plus Walker is shaken up and Penny can't stay healthy.

Man if the Chicago can just somehow get their offensive line to just be even a little bit more competent I'd say this is a real good spot to be building from. It feels like the coaching staff is definitely building something strong here and with a season or 2 under their belt and some good acquisitions we might be in for some good times but also... it's the Bears lol. Those penalties that were killing the Seahawks offense - that was us, so to see it almost completely removed from our game is a good sign so far!

These pre-season games are for helping to determine final roster cuts and getting starters a few live reps in a near-regular-season-like atmosphere (oh, and generating revenue also). Winning is nice, but it's 100% irrelevant. A lot of conclusions are being drawn based on the play of 3rd or 4th stringers, not to mention all of the players we're watching who won't even be here during the regular season. I'm not saying the Bears are going to run away with the Division, but I also wouldn't be all that surprised if they pull out 8 or 9 wins this year. Especially if the line pulls together and gives Fields halfway decent protection.

We gotta see more play action this year from the bears. Fields was ELITE last year in play action passing. Matt Nagy never ran them despite Fields being at the top of the league in that category.

In my personal opinion I think we have alot to clean up our defense came up ...and made plays but on offense we have to straighten things out to score more thou.

Good all around victory for the Bears and the Defense comes up with 3 sacks on the seahawks QB plus, Seattle looked a little off balance and didn't execute very well in the first half. Bear Down, Go Bears! 😃👍🏈🏈🏈🐻

bears have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, great picks and a solid core. but as usual, it comes down to qb and getting points.

Eason is Seattle's best chance. As far as arm strength, not many can match it. Kirby wasted him at ga and he only played one season for Washington. Only played 2 years of college football so he's probably never been properly developed.
