I feel you! Him & Montgomery were cold together, we let Montgomery walk & Herbert seems to be paying for it in some kind of way I feel bad for Herb, he deserves better! I actually believe that Waldron heard what the fans and media were saying at the beginning of the season. Meaning Cole Kmet was not involved with the offense as much. We knew Cole was talented but I just think Waldron had to see it for himself. Now Cole is getting way more reps and is highly productive.

The difference to me with Caleb compared to Mitch or Justin is how the Bears have come to utilize Caleb. Right away Caleb was announced the starter, when Mitch and Justin were drafted Chicago had a vet free agent who was guaranteed to start before the draft began. They also refused to let Mitch or Justin practice with the 1s during their rookie offseason and when it came time to play them in the season due to injury or poor play, they just weren’t ready. I also think it was smart to not sign a vet after Caleb was drafted. To me it didn’t make sense to have a vet presence “help” Caleb When that should be the coaching and I also think too many voices (in the case of Justin) can do more harm to the development of a quarterback. Tyson is a top 10 backup in the league and that is enough. This team is exciting and I’m looking forward to the future

Trubisky and Fields are not in the same universe talent wise as Caleb. Trubisky is a total bust and Fields is a great athlete who can not process beyond his first read. His season QB rating with Pittsburgh which has a great line is a 74. That’s a D+.

@@robertn3121 I disagree about Justin. Before Caleb he was seen as a major talent and still is. But I also don’t like using talent as a reason for Caleb being in a better spot because Brock Purdy isn’t very talented either. He doesn’t have a strong arm and isn’t the best athlete but is coached well enough and has pieces around him. Plus when Mitch was coming out there were scouts who thought he was the most pro ready. Quarterbacks like Tua, Jalen Hurts, Bo Nix, Brock, Geno etc all aren’t in the same league of talent as Caleb but have had at least one season (except Bo) of really good football.

@@robertn3121 I am not saying I didn’t want Justin gone I was in the boat of wanting Caleb over Justin. I get the issues I don’t need to RU-vid them, but that’s not the same as talent. While a part of talent, I would still take the skill set Justin has over any other Chicago quarterback not named Caleb Williams. I would also rather have Justin over Russel Wilson and like 10 other starters. Two things can be true, Justin has a ton of talent, but also lacks certain skills to be a really good quarterback. If Caleb could have the deep accuracy Justin has then Caleb could be the best quarterback in the NFC and a top 5 quarterback, I never thought that with Justin.

18, as far as Herbert Dallas is in need of a running back so see if somehow we can work out a trade for him and Micah Parsons. Now sure he’s out right now with a high ankle sprain but where better off having him sit now and use him when he’s ready. We will definitely have to add something else like a third or fourth round draft pick. As long as its not a first or second round because both of those should be used on the offensive line

The fact that we lost out on a stud developmental UDFA TE in Bates to keep these bums on the roster like Dom Rob, Velus & Nate Davis is biggest issue with Poles. We all saw this & he hemed & hated for no reason... also cut blasengame he has no purpose on this roster as well.
