GDs are the biggest gang in Seatown. I have seen Vice Lord graffiti here, but never heard of another People or Folk faction. GDs' worst enemies are GDs as well
Yep, deeply divided into CD & South End factions since the 1980s; many do not get along at all. So, if you factor this in, then Hoovers are probably the biggest "united gang". Bloods, under Elm Prius, used to be very strong and aligned with CD GDs, but now Bloods are broken into smaller disorganized sets. Surenos are growing in numbers in Seattle but also deeply divided. I worked them all there professionally for almost 25 years and knew them before and after my career.
Research" Royal Family" Chicago early 1970s, they are mentioned way back then. Sometimes it takes a while for a gang to get a Rep but Boonie was on the map prior '93.

Maybe I missed something, did I call them a gang? They were my big brothers in Seattle as well as the Brown Berets. Some of them were "former" gang members so it is relevant to this channel and this series. After the Panthers and Berets were broken up by the government many Black & Brown youth turned to despair. Gang membership skyrocketed, that is a fact, whether people wanna realize it or not.

It's a little hard to compare L.A. and Chicago Gangs since CA & IL classify them differently but Chicago is said to have over 70 gang groups split into about 750 factions. Just because they are GDs or Vice Lords, etc. does not mean they get along. L.A. has approx 450 gangs, some of them have sets and clicas that get a long. It is way more complicated than just Crips and Bloods. Sureno gangs actually outnumber Black gangs there. Surenos will often fight each other on the street but often band together in prison on orders of the CA Mexican Mafia. They used to often war against Black gangs on the inside (Crips & Bloods), but in recent years that has also changed. Besides Crip, Hoover, Blood, Piru, and Sureno umbrellas in L.A., you also have SWP, Outlaw Bikers, Asian and Pacific Islander gangs. Check out more of my videos on all of them to better understand.

Not what many of them tell me, many ride solo now is what they say. Things do change over time, I've seen it. Plus, Folks and People Alliances are not what they used to be. Per numerous G Unit Os and Gs, Chi-Town gangs align more under Families now, Almighty, Insane, etc.

Correction BGD was BD's, BG's, & GD"s together as an Alliance, Larry Hoover was a Black Stone before joining the BGD Alliance you'll often see the Black Stones 21 Bricks with one falling off to be considered Larry Hoover, Black Gangsters turned into the New Breed of Black Gangsters, & when the Alliance split BG's & BD's still had an Alliance after referred to as Treys both Ways and are considered 1st Cousins, similar to TVL's & 4CH's are both Solid Alliance, or Black Stones and Latin Kings are both Almighty Alliance that's the Old School Chicago History.
