That sentence is a joke. But it's a good start to keep them in line.

Just by looking at the Court room and the way they were so happy I don't think they see this coming...... I think this shocked even the judge.

I lived in Chicago during this trial and on the day of the verdict I remember almost every job and school was to be cancelled for the day due to riots if he was found innocent.

Would you have preferred a not guilty verdict. He will spend the next 15 years in prison. If that isnt good enough for you, become a judge and show us how done.

Slap on the wrist, he MAY serve 5 or 6 in prison. Still, at least it's something. Hopefully he can never become a cop again

It's a win, and a small win is better than none at all. This is progress and an example to those that disobey the law regardless to who they may be. Effect might not show immediately but rest assured the crooked cops will one day experience justice at it's purist. Unbiased and full accountability.

Numerous cops have told *ME* "Well I fear for my life.." During stops with me *ONE GUY* .. I always respond with *"Well if you're afraid then you're in the wrong profession."* When they act that way or say that line, they immediately lose me saying "Sir" or "Ma'am" as they don't deserve respect. When I tell them the line they immediately do a karma check and *MOST* calm down and check themself. Dispicable ..

Fear is what creates caution, and being cautious keeps you alive. But I do believe some cops have ptsd and dont even realize it or want to come to terms with it. Make therapy mandatory. If you're getting pulled over that much, you should slow down or wear a seatbelt or get a better ride.
