I can't believe they don't have light controls that will stop east bound traffic before the apparatus doors and release that which is stopped at the intersection.
The city should've put the emergency signal traffic light at all firehouses citywide. Some Chicago area fire departments have it in place so the first responders can get out easily otherwise they will end up blowing those air horns at drivers who try to block the driveway of the firehouse.
I agree. The Chicago Fire Department should get that when their new rescues, engines and ladders hit the road. The Chicago area fire departments have the real Q's.
