Yep, and why did you have a 30 minute scan gap?!?! "I was in the rodeo" Well in the future, how can you mitigate the scan gap and participate in the rodeo?
Did something similar to this at a warehouse I worked at years ago, of course we used cones because it's osha violation to have pallets standing up right. But definitely a good way to boost moral and show who's competent on the lifts.
and strive for better drivers . at an longshore job we had 4 levels which is 3 dollars more each level . incentive to learn good and fast driving skills
An electric pallet jack is literally a type of forklift, I mean it has forks that lift objects in the air. I had to get certified to operate an EPJ at Martin Brower. Heck, a manual pallet jack is a type of forklift.
Anyone who knows anything about skillfully driving any PIT will tell you safety is the most important thing, not speed. I was impressed till she overextended at the end and knocked over a pallet
Remember training on a short one and it had this stalk that stuck up with a light on it. Got the freaking handle stuck on it by going too tight and npt letting the arm lift all the way to stop (too noob to push it down to stop) and it threw me off and kept going in circles for a few seconds.... pretty sure it wasn't the best one to use for training but I kept my feet.
@@shadowfox7686 That’s hard to believe cause every single person I know who is certified has either dropped a pallet, brushed something, hit something, etc.. If you operate PIT long and frequently enough it will happen. Nothing wrong with that either, that’s like your official welcoming in to the PIT club. As long as no one’s hurt and it’s not a regular occurrence who cares.
standard advanced order picker/loader test did this every year to keep licence. btw he would have lost some points as he knocked over the back pallet when dropping off the load.
are u on crack it doesnt take that long to be that good. yes it was done fast and smooth but it doesnt take that long trust me. ive had 7-10 diffarent fork lift licenses u can be this good after 12 weeks.
