Great interview!!! Not from Chicago nor live in Chicago but I love my Chicago sports teams (family ties). This interview definitely makes me want to learn more about the history of Chicago!!

Could listen to him speak about Chicago for hours. When you’re in awe of the history that came before you in your city, you feel a sense of pride and obligation to carry that legacy on. Great stuff and we need more positivity in Chicago.

I unfortunately currently live in the rural south, (not by choice but because of family.) Born and raised in Evanston, Deerfield and eventually Gurnee. I get that I'm a far north suburban boy, but from as long as I can remember I've always loved the city. Despite what the actual traitors to our nation say, (Fox "News",) Chicago is an absolutely remarkable town. I currently live in an area where the history revolves around ownership of human beings and honestly not much else. Say what you want about Chicago, but at least this city has bred some positive historical change and I believe can become a beacon for decency and intellectualism in a country that seems to be going backwards when it comes to the rights of its citizens.

Chicago's best days are behind it. Hello Detroit!
