@@mitchcarson6309 Yep, they are all excellent musicians. My point wasn’t to be critical. It simply shows that while band members change, the music continues. Chicago will eventually be a catalog of great music regardless of who’s playing it, much like the Duke Ellington band and Count Basie that still tour with musicians who weren’t even born when those bands were king.

Brett is a very accomplished session player also. Brian Wilson has used his bass playing on almost all his projects for the past 15 years among many other artists. Maybe he felt it was time to move on and go back to session work.

They all leave because of James Pankow! Svengali leader that controls the band with a grueling touring and low pay to the “Hired Guns”!

I suspected this band has other issues besides the heavy touring and number of concerts they are performing. Three musicians now have recently left since the first of this year. Sounds like a toxic working environment and obviously someone in this band is difficult to deal with. The three founding members run the band and probably the others have to go along with them. In my opinion Pankow tries to be the center of attention in these videos. He is a stage show-off and controls the band. Time for him to leave and then maybe these guys will stay in the band. It is very obvious someone is causing these issues for this band to have so many replacements.
