This video made my eyes water and my mouth too! I love this place so much. I was joking with my Mom when I ate there. It's across the street from a grave yard. I said after this meal, I can die a happy man and you can just wheel me there. I pray to God, he lets me eat here again before I die. The food is the best soul food on planet earth! I can't praise this place enough. The catfish was so good, no hot sauce was needed. The peach cobbler made me cry. Short beef ribs fell off the bones. OMG I'm getting sad not having it near me.
I live in Cali and miss the comfort food of the Midwest. The price and portion sizes are unbeatable. In Cali the prices are higher and portions are much smaller. Whenever I go back to Chicago I plan my day around my meals. lol
