I miss Ted Brunson.

I use to live in Chicago, I´m originally from Aguascalientes. Man I miss this city so much. Sorry for the bad english.

What I like about this guy is that he doesn't have a single drop of racism.

My friend's house was right around the corner four years ago, and I loved going to that restaurant after having a good joint...... damn....

Food looks great. Ted Brunson is the best and the owner looks like Cheech Marin.

any mexican restuarants in Chicago sell beer mugs and cups with their logo on it. I collect mugs from around the country especially Mex restaurants. if anyone can tell me any good Mex restaurants in chicago which have their own mugs/ cups/shot glasses.

these are actually gorditas and big props to the owner for keeping it 100% Mexican and not mixing it with other stuff.

About 40 years ago my dad took us there . Taco bell and all the others didn't know what a gordita was. They had a long cooler full of ice and 20 kinds of beer. They were the best. Over all Mexican food is down a few blocks on blue island Avenue. In pilsen , le casa del pueblo.

I grew up in little village and my parents would take me to eat there. My favorite is the gordita de chicharrón.

To this day it still remains some of the best if not the best Mexican food in the city. Tortillas made in house, food is always fresh, savory, and great portions. I highly highly recommend eating here. I do it at least once a week if I can!
