I might do this next year if I am in a apartment and got a e tricycle so I can get some exercise so I can lose weight. I know from a friend who went to Erik's Bike Board and Ski they can do a custom tricycle that will be able to hold my weight and have my health insurance pay for it being if you're doing it for your health your health insurance will pay for it. I'm almost 600lbs and with a birth defect called Spina Bifida and Fatty Filium so it is really painful to walk so I can get some exercise so I can lose weight so I'm hoping getting a e tricycle will help me with getting exercise but without being in pain.
For many years it was on Memorial Day weekend but it was shut down in 2020, when it came back in 2021 it was on Labor Day weekend. So now it looks to be a Labor Day weekend thing. The next Bike the Drive is on Sunday, September 3, 2023
The event starts at 6:30am… but they start closing LSD beforehand. At 10:30 they start opening sections until about 11:30-noon when LSD is fully open to vehicles. More info here… bikethedrive.org/event/
LSD 😂 I'm from Chicago and I NEVER thought of the initials... ST JOHN 3:16! ❤ Once, in the "70s I ran out of gas on lake shore drive, (no road service) and a good Samaritan went and got some for me! My kind of town! ❤
