I was planning on living in the South Loop or Bridgeport, but I got a job on the far north side. South Loop really changed for the better all these years.
The pricing up and up not caring that the median income on people so bad they cant afford to rent those prices and they dont care they push a byline gap push majority of people in the far city to live in TRASH deal with violence n fear Or u try a nice neighborhood be in peace somewhat but suffer because the price is high n more
@@sassyd8738 get a better job bro sorry it’s just how life works as the people that can afford it move in the low income people move out it’s sad but it’s the only way the city can progress
Gun violence and robberies happens more on the north side and down town. Go look at the data. Bronzeville, hype park , Kenwood, Oakland and the surrounding communities are beautiful and safer than the north side. Hyde park and Woodlawn has it own police department in addition to the Chicago police department.
Only until its gets more gentrified. Those shooters are about to be out and mostly on the southwest side of the southside, and even then they don't have many places left to go.
Alot of the immigrants, especially mexicans are slowly moving into the more affordable south side, acting as gentrifiers, but this is good for the area, especially bronzeville. You South side wont have less and less empty lots in the next couple of years and we are all in for it!
I agree. Right now, I live in Fernwood. It's adjacent to Roseland. I'm black, and my new neighbors are Hispanic! Lol, I want an elote man in my neighborhood. Bring it on, let shit change. I think South Shore will be huge in the future, and Southworks.
is the people in office fault over the last 26 yrs or more been pushing people further into the city to make certain places dainty with roses n ignored the city n made downtown a money maker i believe due to homeless population went up n up over the years and the PUSH to only allow a higher income in the nice places done set the city in flames
