The reason why there is so much racial tension out in California is due to the racial division that is established out there I won't get into it because that's not what I'm here doing I'm only trying to educate those who may be confused about it. It seems that no matter if you're in Colorado or California, which is one of the main core states of gang membership, racial diversity is starting to become more welcomed as there are more Chicano races intermingling with other races and other races intermingling with Chicanos. The reality is is that we are all under the social class of minorities whether we are brown or black we are all still human beings. It is only the indoctrination of the politics within the cognitive paradigm of these individuals who are a part of these factions. In conclusion this is why Colorado is much different due to the fact that there isn't racial structure there is more racial diversity when it comes to gang factions.

It depends what state and city you're out in. Because in the 90s i would say it was normal to be chicano crip because in some states in cites Hispanic gang's weren't as big or really as many. Especially where you have hoods that are made up of blacks and Chicanos,so Chicanos clicked up with blacks. It really wasn't til the surenos from California strated spreading that changed the scene of Hispanic gang's. Because it became a thing in cities outside of California to become surenos and it grew. Then that's where the whole influence of that whole concept of Chicanos or Mexicans coming together to represent the Mexican culture basically. Because that's what California has always pushed it that way,being that they have racial segregation with the blacks. So Mexicans or Chicanos all of a sudden wanted to be surenos. Snd California still promotes that racial segregation in their politics with the gang stuff. I remember down South most Chicanos hoods were cripping with blacks. Then the surenos California thing started to be a thing with some people. But besides surenos being a California thing. There really wasn't any other big Mexican or Chicano clicks. The only other Hispanic gang that was considered nation wide and huge were the Latin Kings that ate from Chicago originally. But other than them it was small clicks or local hoods in cities. Everyone at point if you were banging in the 80s or 90s wasba crip or a blood probably most likely because that's what was coming up and growing and spreading in gang banging through the states and cities. I've known chicano dude's who have crip tattoos and who we're banging crip,then got influenced by the sureno movement or went to California and got influenced then turned sureno. Which was weird because there wasn't any surenos of any kind in the 90s down south it was s crip or blood thing. And when i moved up here to Colorado outside of Denver it was all the Paisas dude's basically who were banging sureno but more like wannabes they weren't from an actual hood or click. Snd California surenos would bang on them being drom California where they we're from a hood or area. So they wouldn't even consider for a while surenos outside of California as real surenos. And I've seen that too of Nortenos in Colorado that were from California do the same thing to people claiming Norteno not being from California. So it was weird because outside of Denver out in the suburbs or other towns up north or east or wherever there are no blacks really it's all white and Paisas or straight Mexicans people from Mexico and few Chicano families. So i respect the Chicanos who grew up in hoods that were black and brown because i can relate and its was alot of our upbringing and how we grew up.
