Hey Nigel news what do you think of this opinions: Creaky Cranky: None of the loads were heavy, heavy. They were just single flatbeds with average amount of weight and Cranky has clearly lifted much heavier loads than Thomas. Hell, he lifts Spencer. A much heavier engine in Misty Island Rescue later on and it didn’t damage him there. Can you at least be consistent with your stupidity. Slippy Sodor: Seriously, Why does this funnel even exist even as a worthless spare funnel and you know this whole situation with the bubble liquid could’ve been avoided if they just oh, I don’t know. Put a lid on the barrel. The Early Bird: (Nitrogen Era Thomas: Good morning, James. Have you seen Percy? No. I have too much to do to see Percy.) Says an engine who’s just sitting in the sheds doing nothing right now. Sorry, that always bugged me. What also bugs me is the fact that Thomas has never pulled the mail before? Ignoring S3 for a minute I do believe that helped deliver the mail with Percy in the S11 episode: Thomas And The Spaceship and he wasn’t delivering the mail to any stations. He was instead delivering to places I believe only mail vans deliver it to. Playtime: My aforementioned complaint about Charlie and fact that Annie doesn’t say anything to Thomas when he’s rushing to the town hall. These coaches have mouths. They have voices. Later provided by the easily affordable Teresa Gallagher. Why don’t they ever use them? Percy’s Parcel: The Fat Controller tells Thomas his special job and then he leaves only to return to the sheds literally 20 seconds later to tell Percy his special. Why the hell didn’t he just tell Percy right after talking to Thomas? This whole incident with the box wouldn’t have happened if he hadn’t left. A Blooming Mess: If Mavis was so busy, she wouldn’t have been on this bridge. She should have been at the Quarry if that was the case. In fact why wasn’t Mavis anywhere at the Quarry until after the second strike and did Emily really think just dumping the flatbed where they were was going to make the Quarry beautiful and not by unloading the flowers. Splish Splash Splosh: The first scene with Thomas & Rosie was really cute but, then after that the episode took a huge nose dive and crashed. Doing it the 1st time with Charlie was okay because he would laugh at literally anything but, Emily & James regardless if they were carrying loads. That’s what coupled up. They wouldn’t have found being splashed with muddy rainwater fun at all. James especially and it wasn’t until the 5th time that the water put out Thomas’s fire but, wait if it was the water that put it out then how was it possible that Thomas was able to keep on going. Then reverse back to the bridge and then his fire went out. This is just inconsistent stupidity!
Hey, Nigel news what do you think of these episodes: James In The Dark: Didn’t they have just one of those normal white lamps as a spare instead of Ferdinand’s big gold lamp and really James. You’ve known Thomas & Edward for how long and you can’t even recognize their voices. This makes less sense in the CGI series since we now have definitive voices. Charlie And Eddie: As if Charlie wasn’t already bad enough with forcing Edward out of his work. Even when he knew he had messed up after the 1st strike. But, he has now resorted to doing his usual shtick of telling jokes. Jokes that I bet even the child audience wouldn’t find funny. (Nitrogen Charlie: Where do crocodiles keep their money? In a river bank. (Laughs.) Narrator: But, Edward didn’t laugh. He didn’t even smile.) One of the many reasons Edward is my favorite character. Toby And The Whistling Words: Dear God!!! They have turned Toby into the biggest whip imaginable. He seriously finds an owl hooting and trinkling water as scary sounds. Oh and James & Thomas are just shunting trucks in the middle of the main line. Don’t blame me if Gordon speeds down that line. Thomas In Charge: (Nitrogen Thomas: The Fat Controller said “Busy engines will please the railway inspector most of all. I must find more engines to shunt trucks. Then, the railway inspector will be really pleased.) I thought the problem was that he was going to steal other engines trains and take them all to the docks to show the inspector how busy he is. But, no. He’s instead dragging other engines to shunt his trucks and not doing any of their jobs in return. That sounds like the opposite of busy to me. Being Percy: I kinda like the idea of Percy trying to be more assertive by being like Gordon. But, come on!!! He has delivered the mail how many times and he didn’t stop at his usual stop and why did he just race through Knapford? He had just one job. Stop at Knapford for Allicia Botti. How did that escape his mind? Henry’s Magic Box: I know The Fat Controller told Henry to look after the box. But, he was looking after it as if it was a freaking animal and how could this entire forest of Christmas trees fit into that one box folded up or otherwise. Not to mention, Henry’s other job was to tell the other engines to come to Farmer Mccoll’s Farm at tea time. Why couldn’t The Fat Controller tell them and this episode isn’t the only culprit of this. The biggest present of all had the same problem. Pop Goes Thomas: God, this episode was awful!!! Absolutely no one. Thomas, his driver, his fireman, the supposed guard that should’ve been there knew what the popping noise was and yes Thomas does have a driver & fireman. They were clearly shown in many previous Nitrogen episodes. More notably Thomas And The Snowman Party. Now, this just makes these episodes even more nonsensical because they did absolutely nothing to warn Thomas at any point or correct him sternly about what he should do. They just carry on with his stupid ideas all the time. How does each season of this fucking show keep getting worse & worse every single year? I thought S9 was bad. But, then S10 was worse. But, then I thought S12 was worse. But, then S13 was worse and now S14 is the worse one yet. I don’t think we have dealt with the worst yet. Let us see if the next season actually is the worse tomorrow.
Hey, Nigel news what do you think of these opinions: TTTE&F S21: You unfortunately know the old saying “All good things must come to an end. God, my life sucks. So, S21…it’s a really interesting case to talk about. This season is a lot of things. A: It’s the final season of the brenner era. B: It’s a very divisive season of the the show. There are plenty of people who like this season and there are an equal amount who hate this season and C: It’s very obvious to everyone that this season is rushed. I don’t mean in terms of the animation or the music and things. I pretty much mean everything else. There are only 18 episodes this season instead of the usual 26. There’s also one vocal song instead of the usual 2 or 3 and there are some cases where they accidentally kept the US voice lines for minor voice roles in the UK Dub. I’ve noticed this mistake at least 3 times this season. (Brenner Era Kevin: Sorry, boss. Brenner Era Porter: What was that? Brenner Era Farmer McColl: Well done, Phillip. This little diesel saved my whole flock all 68 of them.) There could be many reasons why S21 was rushed like this. It could be because this was the first proper season animated by this new animation company. Jam Filled Entertainment since ARC Productions sadly went bankrupt a few months prior or it could be that they were crunched for time after finishing Journey Beyond Sodor or it could be that they were saving much of their budget and production time as possible for the Big World Big Adventures Movie and series. It could’ve been any one of these reasons or all 3. So, 26 takeaway 18 means that there are must have been eight whole planned episodes that they had to cut to make way for the future rebrand. Some episodes we know were going to happen. Thanks to someone asking Ian McHugh about it on Gmail which are the Christmas Coffee Pot at Over The Hill. Weird. But, okay. Thomas’s Animal Ark, Confusion Without Delay, Chucklesome Trucks, The Unfriendly Elephant with a different character. Oliver’s Fear Of Fireworks which would have been Samson And The Fireworks but with Oliver & Toad instead of Samson & Beresford and one final episode that he probably forgot to clarify. Maybe, an episode that explains why Rosie received her new red coat of paint or maybe Free The Road as a direct follow up to Unscheduled Stops or maybe another Terence episode or maybe a Henry episode where he properly leaves Tidmouth Sheds like Edward did. Who knows? So, to recap we have the 2 Glenn episodes that had a rushed release for S20 just for a DVD release which explains why S20 strangely has 28 episodes and why Runaway Engine was made because it would have served as a 3rd chapter in this Glenn Arc even if the episode is more about Millie & Stephen. 2 episodes that were pushed to S22. One of them featuring different characters in a lead role. 1 episode pushed to S23. One pushed to S24 & Rebecca was originally going to be introduced in S21 before joining the Steam Team in S22. These episodes would’ve worked so much better here. Why did they have to force all of this Blobber stuff to the production crew? Why!!! But, with what we did get with S21. Most of it was a really good watch honestly. I mean it. Most of the episodes are really funny, have interesting character pairings we’ve never seen before, and lots of interesting ideas. Pairing Daisy up with Harvey and them appreciating each other’s unique abilities is an intriguing idea. Confused Coaches has a fun concept. The Big Freeze was a nice opposite effect of Thomas Saves The Day from S8 where the steamies rely on the diesels to help with their jobs and my favorite episode this season was Dowager Hat’s Busy Day. It’s basically The Green Controller from S9 was it? But, 5x better. It has a interesting concept. A nice stabbing of the Sharon Miller Era & it’s honestly one of the funniest episodes in the series.
Hey Nigel news I’m back to your channel again and what do you think of this opinion: Uh, god the dark ages are finally done. What did I think of the nitrogen era as a whole? Well, I’m just gonna say it. I honestly prefer watching the nitrogen era seasons than S9-11. You can shoot me all you want, but that is my opinion. Look I do understand why everyone in the fandom considers the Nitrogen Era as the worst era of the show. The narrator uses alliteration way too much, half of the characters dialogue is unnecessary rhyming, the characters themselves have been butchered in terms of their personalities, the animation could’ve been better, the tired 3 strikes formula is in every single episode, the stories were overly simple, and use the same moral and there is way to much focus on Thomas and not enough on the rest of the steam team or any other new characters. But here’s the thing the hit era suffered from nearly the same problems. But certain elements made it more boring to sit through. I was struggling to sit through S9-11 and hell I even straight gave up half way through S11 because of the repetitive formula and the characters blunders, simple stories, and the use of alliteration. But was made even boring because of the narrator voicing every character, the music being reused constantly, and the model work was getting lazier and less interesting. I felt if I was watching the same exact episode over and over and over again with no end in sight. The nitrogen era on the other hand had CGI animation meaning that they could do a lot more than what they could do with the models, the songs, and some cases of background music were much better. Certain elements from the movies were carried over into the show. So it gave us a reason to watch them and had some resemblance of continuity. All of the new characters they introduced stayed on the show and appeared regularly and not just introduced, made a few cameos, and they were erased from existence and the voice acting was really refreshing to hear. And some of it fit the characters really well. I mean I would rather listen to this for 80 episodes. (Nitrogen Era James: I am the cleanest and brightest red engine on Sodor.) Than listen to this (HIT Era James: Have you seen the new engine yet.) This is what I can see. TTTE&F is a television show. A television show is a form of entertainment. Something to keep you entertained if you’re in a bad mood or have nothing to do. The opposite of entertaining is boring. Seasons 9-11 are boring. Seasons 13-16 is also boring. But, they are more entertaining than seasons 9-11 because of the new elements they added in like the CGI and the voice acting and etc. I’m pretty sure this statement will fall of it’s face and will be wrong later on. But, that is what I see when I compare the hit era to the nitrogen era. That is honestly how I feel. Eight whole seasons of awful episodes. 180 of them. Do you know what I really miss? The days when the show good. When the crew was consistent with everything, when they remembered the character’s personalities, and lore that they came up with. When it was heavily inspired by the original source material, when the visuals were beautiful, when the writing had effort put into it, when episodes were focusing on other characters beside the main cast, when Percy delivered the mail during the night, when Toby & Henry weren’t onto whims, when Thomas wasn’t a selfish brainless idiot, when Edward was the best character on the show, when Henry didn’t need special coal anymore. I just..!!! When is there ever going to be the day that the show is going to feel like classic series again. When they are actually going to put effort into the writing? When the show is actually going to be a great show to watch. (Brenner Era Toby: Henry’s broken down. Brenner Era Gordon: Don’t tell me he needs special coal again. Brenner Era Toby: No, Gordon. That was fixed years ago.) We are finally here at the Brenner Era of TTTE&F.
Here let me tell you how good the brenner era is: Great songs, better stories written, voice acting, and get to know more about other engines besides the main cast like Duncan, Kevin, Charlie, Gator, Hiro and more. At least seasons 17-21 is better than the nitrogen era.
