Beautiful view. Have you thought about a large double or triple wide manufactured home? It would definitely be faster, and there's some nice ones nowadays. Good luck with whatever you decide!

That's something we've looked into. We've been doing a lot of research into what would be best (and able to be delivered) up to our property.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do. Building a house seems best if you have way too much work to do on the house . You can customize it to your family’s needs.

A busy day for you all. I've had 3 ticks, so far this spring. I use a small cedar tree from our fence row as a table top Christmas tree each year. I decorate it with a strand of lights and dried oranges. Our main tree is artificial, but I love the little "Charlie Brown" tree best. And it smells wonderful!

Laura and Sam you have some beautiful acreage. I see your point about not wanting to fix up or add onto the old house. After seeing how quickly the Mwania's house is going up, compared to another family who gutted and rebuilt a standing structure, I'd say go for a new build. You could possibly rent the house for some extra money, to someone you can trust, or keep it as a Guest House. Lots of work ahead. God Bless you and your family. ❤✝️🌹

Awesome pasture.Many ticks in your area? Understand the housing predicament, our house was built around same time and is in decent shape but has taken a lot of work and money to get it this way.
